Editing
Today my group and I realised that the words on the pill bottle weren't showing up when playing the full 2 minute opening in imovie. This meant that we had to export the film for the words to be shown. We also realised when watching the 2 minute opening, after we had exported it, that the words came onto the pill bottle too late so we changed the time when the 'A Martin Julian film' words appeared on the pill bottle. We also made the words fade in so they appeared on the pill bottle gradually.

Film editing
Today my group and I finally managed to fit the words 'A Martin Julian Film' onto the pill bottle at the beginning of the film opening. Here is a vlog explaining today in further detail.
Me and Rhiannes vlog on film editing
Today Mac 5 have been editing our film opening. We have been trying to fit the 'A Martin Julian Film' words onto the pill bottle at the beginning of the film opening but it's not fitting at the moment so we have been playing around with the font size to try and make it fit. Here's a vlog by me and Rhianne explaining today in further detail.

Update on 2 minute film opening
During Wednesday and Fridays lesson my group and I have cut out the scene of Hannah smoking as it didn't look realistic. We also changed the order of some of the scenes so the film makes more sense and have finished the VoiceOver. We now need to finish the title sequence and then hopefully we will be finished. We are planning to meet up later in the week to finish the title sequence so hopefully our 2 minute film opening will be completed by the end of the week.

Title sequence
In our 2 minute film opening our title sequence is further in to the film opening than usual. This is because we thought the place we put the title sequence was the best place for them as if it wasn't there then there would be two different scenes back to back and so would confuse the audience as they wouldn't know where the actress was. The title sequence solves this problem as it shows that time has passed since the last scene.

Sequence of the 2 minute film opening
In todays lesson my group and I realised that in our two minute film opening Hannah ends up in a bathroom but no one really knows where the bathroom is, therefore we are going to change the sequence of a few of the shots to make the plot easier to understand. We are also going to cut out Hannah smoking because it doesn't look realistic.
Film editing
In todays lesson my group and I have been finishing off our 2 minute film opening. We still have to do the voice over and the title sequence but hopefully this should be finished by the end of the day.
Background music for our two minute film opening
We have finally finished making the music for our two minute film opening. It was very slow and time consuming but after weeks of hard work we have finally finished it. Below is a screen shot of the project in audacity.

Storyboarding
Here is our storyboards for our 2 minute film opening. Some of the shots we have are different to how they look on our storyboard because when we put the shots into action some of them didn't look right or didn't fit into the 2 minute film opening so we had to change them or cut them out. We have also added a few extra shots to makes the 2 minute film opening flow more.
Here is the opening scene where me and Hannah Connolly are in the surgery. One of the shots had to be cut because in the shot before Hannah Connolly had her glasses on but in the next shot she had them off so we needed to cut it otherwise it wouldn't look realistic and it wouldn't flow.
This is another storyboard of the opening scene in the surgery. We still need to film Hannah Connolly and I leaving the room, which we are hoping to film tonight.
This is a storyboard of the bathroom scene where Hannah Connolly washes her face. We decided to add another shot where an underwater camera captures her washing her face from in the sink.

Mac 5 film opening draft 2
Here is mac 5's film opening draft 2. We still have a lot of work to do including changing sections of the sound to make it more in sync with the film opening and we also need to film me and Hannah Connolly walking out of the surgery door, so we are hoping to back there tomorrow evening.

Mac 5 vlog on title sequence
Today we have been editing our 2 minute film opening and deciding on where to put the title sequence and what titles we are going to use. Here is a video of us explaining our title sequence.
Voiceover recording
This week we have been deciding who would be the voice of our voiceover. On Monday we tried Janel saying the script. At first, we recorded the voiceover on Garageband and imovie but it sounded like an echo and so we re recorded it on our camera. Here is a picture of Janel recording the voiceover.
We are also going to try Hannah Connolly recording the voiceover and then choose whose voice we think suits the movie best.

Props, makeup and costume
Hannah Connolly, the main actress, wore very formal clothes to show she is a professional psychiatrist.
The colours of her outfit are very dark colours to show she is shady.
Hannah's hair is not tied up so it can fall in front of her face to make her look more hidden.
Hannah didn't wear much makeup because we thought it would make her look less professional and we wanted her to look sophisticated.
This was the pill bottle that Hannah took her drugs from. Originally we was going to put a title on the pill bottle but we decided not to because we thought the text would be too small.
This is the prescription we used that Hannah C administrates to me. We used a real prescription to make it look more realistic.
